LOCATION Railway Bridge 167 MSL, North of Maheno  •  PRINCIPAL Ontrack •  PROJECT DATES June 2010 to September 2010

The contract involved the construction of new reinforced concrete piers, consisting of 10 bored piles with driven precast cap, and the dismantling of existing timber piers.

Works included piling, insitu concrete construction, temporary traffic management and was completed in a remote location.  The project was completed ahead of time, within budget, and encountered no problems with health and safety.   All environmental and consent conditions imposed were met.
